About the organizer:
The Institute of Social Science Survey (ISSS) of Peking University was established in September 2006. It is a data survey platform for social sciences at Peking University and an interdisciplinary platform for empirical research on social issues in China. The Center currently undertakes two large social survey projects – the China Family Panel Studies and the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. As an entity of academic research institutions directly affiliated to Peking University and characterized by interdisciplinary subjects, its purpose is to integrate multiple types of data based on large-sample, high-quality micro-survey data, and build a data collection, service and research platform.
Objectives:
Effectively serve the scientific advancement of quantitative research in the field of social sciences, and promote a solid academic style of quantitative research in social sciences in China.
Active object:
University teachers, students and professionals in related fields who are engaged in social science research are welcome to register.

Jointly Ph.D. in Agriculture and Forestry Economic Management Beijing between Forestry University and Peking University, and Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Social Science Survey, China and Project management of CFPS Survey.

Meeting schedule: (3 days in total, 6 keynote speeches, 3 hours for each keynote and discussion)
Meeting matters:
1. Cost standard: 3000 yuan
(The organizer provides a free working lunch. The accommodation and transportation expenses are paid by the participants. The organizer can provide the “conference fee” invoice)
2. The conference has a scale of 60 people. Teachers, students and professionals in related fields who are engaged in the field of social science research are welcome to register according to the principle of priority in the registration order.
3. The Certificate of Participation of the Seminar on Quantitative Research Theory and Methods of Peking University was awarded by the China Social Science Survey Center of Peking University.

5. Payment method: The fee will be paid directly to Peking University by the participants before the meeting using remittance, online payment, and official business card.
