In order to improve the social policies of families in urban and rural areas in China and strengthen community service and governance, the Ministry of Civil Affairs entrusted the Center to implement the two projects of “China's urban and rural families' social policy support system construction” and “community governance dynamic monitoring platform and deep observation network construction”. The project carried out household or community surveys in 29 provinces, 148 districts and counties, and 5,000 villages across the country. This project adopts computer-aided interview interview method. So far, 28,084 questionnaires have been completed. Currently, the project is still in progress.
